About me

Sax player. DJ. Calm pair of hands.

I'm Guy, but you probably know me as The Sax Guy—pun definitely intended. I'm a freelance saxophone player and DJ with more than 10 years in the music industry, playing across the UK and around the world.

Having played at thousands of events, I know what it takes to make a good event great. I keep the booking simple, then build the music around what you actually want your day to feel like.

I'm Guy, but you probably know me as The Sax Guy—pun definitely intended. I'm a saxophone player and DJ with over a decade in the industry, playing across the UK and around the world.

Music became the plan early. After studying at Paul McCartney's Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, my first DJ and sax set in a Liverpool city-centre bar opened the door to weddings, birthdays, festivals and international events.

Since then, I've played Formula 1 at Silverstone, toured with Hedkandi and performed at Creamfields, as well as British and Irish embassy events, destination weddings and celebrations for some of the world's best-known brands.

Every event is a blank canvas. I keep the booking simple, help shape the timings and build the music around what you want your day to feel like. When it calls for a bigger lineup, I bring in brilliant DJs, percussionists, singers and musicians, with one point of contact and the same care from start to finish.

  1. Tell me about your event

    Choose your date, venue and music. See an estimate, including travel, before you enquire.

  2. I check the diary

    I’ll check the diary and any extra performers, then confirm your options and final price.

  3. Secure your date

    Agree the details and pay a deposit of no more than 20%. Your date is then firmly in the diary.

  4. We plan the good bit

    We’ll work through timings, favourite songs and the finishing touches together. A call is always welcome.

  5. The event itself

    I’ll work with your venue and take care of the entertainment. You enjoy every moment.

What is included in the Full Day wedding package?

The Full Day Experience costs £2,450 and includes two 45-minute drinks reception sax sets, a wedding breakfast entrance, early evening entertainment, up to five hours of evening DJ music, live sax sets, and an extra evening performer: your choice of live vocals, percussion or another DJ, subject to availability. All equipment, premium sound and the full lighting setup are included in the package price. One coordinated team and point of contact throughout. Travel and any accommodation are quoted separately.

What songs do you play?

Anything and everything. Tell me the songs you really want to hear and I’ll make sure they are part of the plan. I also play with what the DJ is doing and fit the performance around your taste, your guests and the room.

How far do you travel?

I am based in the North West and perform nationwide. Travel and accommodation may be additional depending on location.

Can we build a custom combination?

Absolutely. The packages are a clear starting point, but the music can be shaped around your timings, venue and priorities.

Do you bring all the equipment?

Yes. DJ & Sax includes premium PA and moving-head lighting, with one setup managed by me.

How do we secure the date?

Once I have confirmed availability and the quote, you agree to the booking terms and pay a deposit of no more than 20%. That locks the date into my diary.
